it's in the west. there is a second object directly above, almost. we are sure it has to be some trick of the eye, or of light, but sometimes it moves a LOT, and you can tell by watching it just in your peripheral while looking at nearby stars.

that is the way UFO's (at least the valid ones) move. They stay still or near still, and then move really quick (almost instantly) to somewhere else.
