Anyone manage to buy Planetside?

yes more fanboy spam

didnt know if anyone planned to buy it or if anyone did buy it..... It managed to sell out completely through walmart, compusa, and most gamestop locations.

If any of you grabbed it where did you get it from?

It was a hot seller at my store tonite but we didn't compltely sell out. It looks pretty cool but i can't justify paying a monthly fee to play a game.

I'll be getting it soon to play with Everquest and Everquest II when it comes out as well.

From what I've seen of it (without playing it) it reminds me of Tribes. And that's about it. I still haven't seen any evidence of the huge epic battles they were talking about when they first announced the game

it reminds you of tribes because the head producers are one in the same.

and the "epic battles" only occur if you play in the game and there are plenty of them.
