My Self-Summary
I broke up with a 4 year relationship in December. We are still good friends and such, so its not a big Drama Event. We just realized that we had grown in different ways over the years and that we probably weren't satisfying each other's partnership needs sufficiently.

*yawn* now that I have that out of the way, let me babble on a while about myself like a self-absorbed jackass.

I currently have a secondary partner, who I only see one or two days a week and we both seem to enjoy it that way, so I guess I am open to the idea of finding someone to either be a primary or possibly monogamous with. I'd prefer being with a woman right now as I haven't seriously dated a woman in 3 years and I miss that, but the right sort of guy can catch my eye. I think my ideal situation would be a triad with an equal relationship between all 3 people, but I know those are really hard to make happen so I am not expecting it.

Mostly I am here hoping to find other artists and creatives who want to hang out a lot and work on projects together. It could just be being productive around each other and enjoying conversation, it doesn't have to be collaborations per se... I guess I am still looking for my tribe? Its a big cuddly pile of people about yay big... have you seen them?

I have been trying to be careful about who I spend my time around because I don't think its a bad thing to be picky about that sort of thing. Once you let someone into your life, it can change everything for better or worse. I am dedicated to doing the hard things in life to be happy, so why not find others who resonate with that?

I do like the term "everything in moderation, including moderation."

Spoiler: little girls rub their nipples to Daniel Radcliffe while you cringe at the incessant whimsical magic bullshit that you're supposed to find charming, and the movie tries to work in a quirky British phrase every now and then that you've probably heard before, but some obese, brain dead, middle aged woman sitting next to you laughs every time she hears the word cheeky, and every time the audience is force fed a comic relief moment. The plot comes together in a way that allows stupid people to feel clever about their predictions, and everyone leaves the theater with just enough brain cells left to operate a car and drive home.

i mean people who have clearly never read an entire book probably shouldn't shit on people for reading books that were written with children/young adults in mind.

that said, i don't quite understand the fascination.
