I went last Thursday and shot a 68. :erm

9 holes. Shithole course. I suck. I can't hit the ball well with any club other than my 5 iron. I have an awful slice with my driver and can't figure out how to fix it. I used to get frustrated when I played golf....at least now I've accepted that I'm terrible and just go to have some fun.

I cheat at golf. I always get a good score. So do my partners, they cheat too. We drive off and then throw the ball until it gets on the green and then we putt.
68 isn't that bad. Well maybe a little. On nine my best was 50 which sucks even with cheating.

i was gonna golf yesterday, but it rained. my advice to get better is goto the driving range and stand next to some old fossil. he will most likely try to tutor you. this happened to me last week when i just went to hit some balls. it was fucking pissing me off at first, but the advice started to payoff and after a bucket of balls i was hitting straight all the time.

i golf like crazy. Usually twice a week. I'm in a golf league. On a good day, I get around 50 after nine holes. I've been playing for 11 months. I don't slice, I usually hook if I swing too hard. And I still can't hit with my fairway woods or my 3 iron worth shit.

Am I the only one that actually is somewhat good? I have golfed for 8 years and have like a 10 handicap. Not great but I don't take lessons or anything.
Last week I went out and shot a 37 (2 over par) on the first nine holes of the year.

golf seems like such a rich, snobby, elitist thing to do. i really loathe it, and i've never done it. it just seems really fucked up to me that anyone would want to go out on a huge fucking landscaped lawn without any unicorns or baby seals on it. even drunk or wacked out on pcp, i can't imagine golf being the hip hop happening thing all the squareheads say it is. fo sho.

Actually its not that expensive. There are a ton of golf courses in my area. You can play nine holes at a nice public course for around $20 or find a little pitch-n-putt for like $10.
