birds are freaking awesome but they require a LOT of attention

well... the expensive and fun ones do (parakeets and most cockatiels are boring and won't let you touch them). You won't get a bird, but if you do, get a hand-fed one.

I had a conure parrot that was so awesome. He would perch on my moms head while she did the dishes--when the sinky was empty he would dive into the running water and take a bath. *sigh* I want a bird bath for my backyard

my grandmother has two birds (macaws or something similar) and they squawk extremely loud all morning. i wouldn't get a bird as a pet if you paid me.

dogs barking is far more annoying.

i hate to agree but dogs are awful i do not understand people and the love of dogs.

i mean, there noisy, smelly. needy, hairy. and those fucking people who carry there fucking dogs everywhere they go are so fucking annoying, and then get pissed when you tell them to leave that shit at home. and the assholes who let there dogs shit in parking lots...goddamn i hate fucking dogs.
