Default Satan lives in my home town

Clear Channel Communications
200 East Basse Road
San Antonio, Texas 78209

Sometimes I day dream about what I could do to hurt them.
Ideally, I would prefer to upload some sort of virus into their main computers to shut them down for a while.
However, that's too complicated.
In my more realistic daydream, I spraypaint anti clear channel phrases on their building.

If I weren't such a law abiding citizen, I would actually do some of this.

What you could do to hurt them is to do write Senator Hutchison or whoever your other congressperson is to let them know that you are concerned that Clear Channel is violating Section 1 and 2 of the Sherman (Anti-Trust) Act.

That's what I am doing.

This class I am taking right now turned me on to the fact that Clear Channel is an anti-trust violation waiting to happen.

If you have a rudimentary understanding of the anti-trust laws you could articulate an argument as to why you are concerned that they violate the law in this manner. Not only are there practices monopolistic but they are seemingly anti-competitive.

At this point Clear Channel does not operate more than 60 percent of the stations in any market which is why the FCC cannot touch them.

But anti-trust laws are not about a set in stone % or market share. It's about protecting consumers from anti-competitve practices and anti-competitive products.

Obviously people like Sen. Hutchison are in bed with Clear Channel so it's going to take a grass-roots effort to ever touch Clear Channel but it must start somewhere.
