Yeah I've noticed this too. I'm not going to pass judgement yet though, it's only three episodes in. I really like all the stuff that happens on the island with the time-travel and whatnot. I'm hoping Jack and Ben and crew stop fighting and start looking for the island soon. I guess that will happen since the old jewelry lady said Ben only had 72 hours.

i don't watch lost but i'm really disappointed in how Heroes has taken the tumble.
that show just went from being one of the best things on television to a parody of itself

Season one was great but I lost interest midway through season two. It had a great premise but they picked the absolute worst writers in Hollywood to work on the show.

At least Lost is what five seasons in(?) and it's still completely compelling

Russo's about to go on a killing spree after her kid gets babynapped by Ben. And she knows shit about the Monster too (she called it "a security system"), so it should be some good TV next week.

At least they have a connection about something, that's good.

actually as i recall she killed them all before giving birth. but we're not going to see any of that before they do the time warp again, let's not kid ourselves.

Russo was actually feminine at one point. I like this.

i kept up with the show since season 2 and i couldn't even get through the two hour season premiere. why would i want to sit through another 2 years of lazily assembled red herrings and gimmicks. oh time travel? just wonderful.

i'm over lost.

what about Dexter, yo.
so far i have never seen a show that hasn't lost it's edge after the first season ended, some worse than others obviously, but Dexter has remained a show that just grabs you by the throat. although the first season was the best, i was still on my toes for every new episode of season 3.
after years and years of not watching any TV series i'm finally catching up. now i'm halfway through the first season of the Sopranos

really? i found season 3 of Dexter so disappointing. i was on the edge of my seat for every moment in the first two seasons, but the last one has turned it almost into a soap opera. there were a few good episodes but i didn't like it much on the whole.

I still like Lost a lot, but the series in general hasn't offered quality all the way through. There are plenty moments of too much cheesiness. The biggest flaw is that it simply takes too long and they're trying to find ways to extend it while that doesn't add to the quality. I've had a few beers so excuse my english and pardon my french.

yeah, the third season was weaker than the first two.
but still, it's just such a well done show, even if it doesn't play out as well - it's just fun to watch. the problem is, today's show are pretty much built upon a great idea for a first season, and almost all of them just keep squeezing less and less exciting ideas from it to keep the cash rolling in.

Next week's is called "This Place is Death", which sounds like a menacing title. I'm still banking of crazy Russo killing spree and constant Monster attacks. I can't see Russo having a very good time when she first shows up considering how malajusted and downright cazy she was when the Losties crashed on 815.

Sounds like a Jack episode with the title. But, yeah, I look forward to seeing the "Russo" days

I just read an article from Entertainment Weekly that said everyone would be back to the island within a few episodes, and that the flashbacks/flashforwards would continue at that point.

I think it was implying that the islanders are going to have to keep the entire space-time continum from collapsing entirely.
