Interesting times in South African politics.

Not that any of you care, but things are getting interesting down here.
On Sunday our president resigned under pressure from the ANC.
I was hectic.
There’s been a lot of conflict with the new president of the ANC (Jacob Zuma, commonly regarded as an idiot).
Everyone thought poor Thabo had backed down.
But today he showed his brilliance, because 14 members of parliament also resigned in shock breaking news!
Dun dun.

Looks like the ANC is getting divided at last! I don’t know about this election coming up, but the next one is going to be pretty awesome.

Some of the big names in the resignation is our finance minister Trevor Manuel, who does an outstanding job here and is pretty much regarded as the only man for the job! He’s been doing it for 11 years.
And our minister of defense…

Someone should come bomb us now! We’d be pretty useless.

I think it’s more American though, but that’s just an assumption.

why are they all resigning? especially the finance minister? i thought economic growth in sa was good, so why resign now?

will the new leader know anything about AIDS?
