wow1 i hadn't seen that at all, but i read the article right now, and i must say that the smile that woman has on her face is mighty shocking. it is a fortunate thing that the baby wasn't killed by all the gun fire and his mothers threats, but especially that he wasn't killed when he was dropped :erm

Well, he was three.

I felt really bad for him, because on CNN or whatever, they showed police officers whisking him away because they had just shot his mom in the face. Poor kid.

Well, I saw it on the TV news, and they said they whisked the mother off to hospital, so I guess she didn't get shot in the face, because as far as I know, getting shot in the face will kill you dead (and they'd take you to the morgue instead).

But yeah, she looked deranged. Hooray for batshit insane parents!

not necessarily. I always watch the "Trauma in the E.R." shows on The Learning Channel, and this one guy shot himself in the mouth. the bullet went up through his eye. They fished out the bullet, which had not done any damage besides cosmetic. It didn't even touch his brain.

Well, it does say 'near' an eye - it could have been below. Besides, not every shot to the brain is fatal. He probably was aiming to kill her though
