DIE, ENGLISH TEACHER, DIE.

We were supposed to read some books over the summer...including The Hobbit...and we've not discussed it at all until last week....and even then we didn't talk about the actual book at all. And you know what? I don't remember a single fucking thing about that book.

And this is one of the things I have to do to 'receive credit for reading the book':

Use a chart to provide examples of the growth in wisdom, courage, and initiative shown by the dwarves and by Bilbo in chapters 5-7.

I just read those chapters...and how the hell do the dwarves show any wisdom or initiative?!? THIS IS STUPID.

I READ THE GODDAMN BOOK. WHY CAN'T THEY JUST TRUST ME ON THAT?

And if someone wants to tell me what they think Bilbo gained from his adventures, if he gained anything at all, in the form of a five-paragraph essay, I'd appreciate it.

Reason #2: Why would they wait until the end of THIS year to test you? that makes negative sense.
