I made calamari sushi rolls once, it was fun, i bought little squids, pulled out thier tentacles (which in turn takes prettymuch everything else out of it's body) and then ripped off thier little fins, and skinned em!

it was good. I think I sould make that again.

I think I must have had it at places that didn't cook it right or something. it tasted ok, but the texture made me want to gag. it was too chewy. I felt like I was eating breaded gummy-fish.

that's what squid is. chewy. though depending on how you cook it is can be a little more or less chewy..

Yeah when they're basically fried rubberbands they fucking suck. There's a resturaunt in Austin that always cooks it right and it's pretty good.

when i was a kid, i was obsessed with giant squids.. i wanted to be a marine biologist sooo bad so i could study them... thats fucking cool they found something even bigger!!!
