100 Greatest Movie Stars

On TV last night there was a rundown of the '100 greatest movie stars' as voted by the british public.
This show follows in a recent line of other "100.." shows.
Forum 9 readers may remember my post on the "100 greatest men" version of the programme, where robbie williams was at declared #1 http://forums.netphoria.org/images/smilies/puking.gif
i'm trying to make forum9 sound like an active place in order to raise donations ;)

The fact that it was about 'movie stars' lends some ambiguity to proceedings. After all, how do you measure the merit of a 'star', if it was "greatest actor", perhaps it would be more meaningful..

But nevertheless it was pretty interesting; containing a plethora of hollywood actors talking about their various peers and patting each other on the proverbial back(side).

Jack is way more awesome than De Neiro and Pacino. Pacino is completely overrated. The man chews scenery like no other.

Ewan McGregor? Top ten? The others I understand, but really, his inclusion is an insult to everyone else on that list. There's probably 90 better choices.

I had to stop reading when I saw Meg Ryan and Angelina Jolie had better rankings than Elizabeth Taylor.

yeah. i just looked him up on imdb and found a huge list of important "you're supposed to see these before you die, fuckhead" movies. go figure.
