Eh, its close enough. Consider this: Remember the high-pitched cel phone ring tones that were mentioned on the news constantly (last year, I think it was)? That's not exactly wearing headphones either, and is less accurate than even computer speakers or a stereo system would be, so..

In my opinion a legitimate hearing test is unrealistic. Think about it. You are locked into a small soundproof booth where you hear absolutely NOTHING but what comes out of the headphones. Even sitting in a room by yourself is more noisy than that. Its kind of dumb to test your hearing in an environment you literally never spend any time in. Unless you live in a studio, or something.
