I've seen these in the midwest, and they're box elder bugs. they can be yellow or red.

those are box elder bugs.
occasionally around here (and where you are, it seems) during warmer months their population skyrockets and they gather in disturbingly large groups. they don't seem to really do much, but their mere presence seems to freak people out. i'm guessing they do damage to plants or something when they become too numerous. more bat food, i say.

oh they're not roaches. at all. geeze. i guess it's hard to tell by the picture i posted, but they're tiny, harmless little guys. the type of insect that doesn't really freak me out at all. it's just kinda when you see so many of them all clustered together chillin' out on the windowsill in my basement.

never seen one of those at all, so i couldnt tell really.
roaches freak me out though. i once had a friend who lived in florida and he told me his cats try to catch the roaches but they're too quick.
can you even fathom that there is an insect that a cat cant catch up with? thats crazy

We will now attempt to remedy that oversight. Your photo is out of focus and is totally useless for identification purposes. We do, however, have some personal advice for you. You might consider going back to school to learn how to write and spell as your communication skills are clearly lacking. Your grammar is atrocious and we have no idea what a bathtube is. While you are improving your basic skills, you might want to consider enrolling in a photography class so you can take images that will be helpful for any further identifications you desire. You might also want to consider rounding out your re-education by enrolling in an etiquette class. That will probably also benefit you greatly. On a positive note, you have been awarded our Third Ever Nasty Reader Award. Congratulations. Additionally, we will open the identification of your mysterious blurry creature to our readership, who may have suggestions or general comments to pass your way. By all means readership, write to Jen Cifone at babygunit20012003@yahoo.com and tell her what you think.

Ed. Note: We seriously believe that Jen Cifone has a bet going that she could win the Nasty Reader Award. We can't imagine anyone composing her original letter with such blatant disregard for the English language nor anyone with half a brain thinking they could get that blurry photo identified.
