Default Mavs appreciation / Walton depreciation thread

My Mavs won, that was the good side. Unfortunatley, I had to listen to the worst announcing of any professional sports since about any Braves game in the past three years.

Bill Walton says "throw it down" more than anyone should be allowed too, and he is so anti-Dallas it's pathetic. Hopefully, he'll be stuck covering the Spurts ass-kicking of the Lakers for the next six games and be able to miss all of the Mavs - Kings series. Too bad the Kings will win in 7, even though Dallas has homecourt advantage.

Woe is me.

The only time that it is enjoyable to listen to Walton is when he is on the Dan Patrick show on ESPN. While the Bulls were making their championship runs I couldn't stand Costas or Walton.

Their favorite Jazz series saying "is there enough gas in the tank for one last run?"

dudes, youre not wrong. combining him with tom tolbert is so horrible! on every single play today, no matter what happened or who did it, walton would talk about sabonis! wtf?! thank god the mavs won though!
dan
ps: i dont think there is a single announcer out there who DOES like the mavs though =(

the worst is listening to walton during a lakers game. he praises them so much it sounds like he's about to beat off at any second thinking about shaq and kobe.

Walton was actually really anti-blazers except that game. He seems a little to sure of himself to be credible. He's way to arrogant.

Congrats mav, you guys beat us fair and square, and it was a good series. Too bad the Kings are going to pummel you.

Walton should spark up a joint in the middle of a telecast. That might get me to turn the sound on.
