Talking bike riding appreciation post!

me and jan (ropey lopey) went on an awesome bikeride along toronto's waterfront this afternoon. the weather was awesome, as was looking at the city from a different perspective.

i haven't really biked in a couple of years and just got a new used one. hopefully within a week or so of biking regularly i won't need a nap every time i ride my bike

oh, and hey jan, my cd has a hidden track, which is an instrumental. i think paz is playing violin on it seems like her style.

I am glad you've liked it . It was a very nice afternoon, I am glad I'll have rememberings on Toronto like this...thank you very much.

My ONE has no hidden track, but the version of 'Beloved Woman' is only vailing violin, cello and towards the end really moved Dave.
Hey, I am gonna buy TWO, then, too!!

biking is awesome!

my brother's got fucked up when she was riding and the chain fell right off. it needs some serious attention now. an overhaul. seriously, though, how do you make a bike chain (on a really decent mountain bike) fall off completely?

So now I'm left with no bike to ride. I got a lot of use out of my brother's last year until she broke it. dammit. whatever will I do?
get some shity one for like 10-20 bucks - if it breaks, not a big deal and also usually those aren't exactly the ones people are stealing..

yeah, i rode my bike to work for a couple of years. it's dope. you can listen to music on it too. and i'd use it to ride back from friend's places or parties in the middle of the night after the buses end, which is very peaceful. i'd save up for a new one (my bike was so crappy it degenerated into a completley unrideable and unfixable state) but i'd rather buy a car these days.

I just got my bike tuned up for the spring and went out for a nice ride after work. While I wouldn't want to rely on it to get around, I rather enjoy taking off on my bike for some fresh air for a change.

yeah... i got my bike from some woman on livejournal who was looking to just give it away. the brakes are a bit squeaky (anyone help on that one?) and i still need to lower the seat. i'd like to get some kind of basket for it too, reflectors for biking at night and maybe a bell. oh, i guess a helmet too :erm. i refused to wear a helmet when i was a kid.

I was riding my bike today and smoking at the same time, it so defeated the purpose of bike ridding, but hey.
