Test Thread: I wonder what this board would be like if people did not reply to flames

i think it would change a lot of things around here pretty fucking quickly

i was just scrolling thru the threads like i do every 2 or 3 hours and i noticed how much fucking flaming there is...and then people flaming back or replying saying something like "wow that's original!!1!"

maybe that's part of what makes netphoria netphoria

maybe i'm just getting old in netphoria years (4, this july), but the board did not used to be mostly flaming back and forth, it used to be a place for good conversation; i could scroll down and find lots of different topics that looked interesting but the only one up today is yeehajamesiha's boobs thread (which is quite wonderful)

a lot of people who go way back might think i'm being a nut, but it just seems like in the last few months or so, things have gotten out of hand

well, concerning how hard people are on each other, I don't think it changed very much, compared to 3 years ago. Maybe slightly...

Come to think of it, during the last few months I was getting pretty tired of all the flaming. That's just me, I guess, because it never really was an oasis of peace and love here...:erm
