Last night i couldn't sleep so i was watching The Man Who Wasn't There on TV (great movie, just had to drop the title even though that's not what the thread's about), and I realized why it's in style to have the low ass-showing pants and the tiny above the waist shirts. it's because those damn back tattoos are EVERYWHERE and people want to show them off.

DAMN YOU AND YOUR BACK TATTOOS! i can't find non-ass-showing pants anywhere!!

Um. Gap has the regular "boot cut" jeans that aren't low-rise at all. But yeah, they seem to be everywhere. Apparently someone decided that "the bum crack is the new cleavage". what the crap.

yeah, regular jeans are possible to find, but it's still hard to find them as widespread as they used to be. I'm not talkin about '80s up to your boobs jeans, just regular jeans that aren't cut suuuuper low. it would be nice to have the varietah so that all body types might participate

i fucking hate how all the pants they sell/make now don't have any pockets, especially back pockets. having no front pockets is pretty annoying, but now having any BACK pockets is fucking ugly. i think it's because they make your ass look bigger, and everyone has a small ass so they want to look like they have booty
