I heard there were some picture problems with the disc. i have 50 $ to spend at best buy, should i go this route or something else?

the first few episodes have some jagged lines visible. it's not a dvd problem, that's just how the epsiodes look. i never noticed it when i saw them on tv, but apparently it gets worse the bigger your tv gets. i'm planning on picking up the set very soon.

so in conclusion: yes.

I've got them. Go get them. They are funny.

There are some crooked looking lines occasionally but the show is animated. Who really cares?

I just got the set for myself from a friend yesterday for my birthday

the commentary is great too, its basically the writters giggling along with the jokes as they're played out.
