Mooney, i think what you should do is automatically break it off completely.
at least for about a week, or a few days. let her dwell in her misery of how she lost you.
if you're of any importance to her, be sure that she will come back and try to work things out.
if they do work out,the 'balance' between you will be changed and unless she's a fucking whore i don't see her pulling shit like that any time soon.
if she's not really into you then you won't be coming back together.
but either way i'm pretty sure she'll be hurt if you walk away decisively.
leaves her with a lot of questioning and self doubting ,etc. i think this is the best action you could take at the moment. sorry to hear that she's a cheating bitch.

I was fortunate enough not to have been subjected to having the image visually burnt into my mind. It was confessed to me.

I have some deep rooted anger issues that are now controlled and dormant. However I know they would erupt if I had seen them in the act, and I would find great relief in directing the rage and sorrow through the pig knocking my gf..

for fucks sake, we both knew the relationshop was coming to an end with her moving far away in like two months. all she had to do was give me a few more weeks so we could end things on a good note so i could look back happily on the time we spent together. now, it just seems like she robbed me of two happy years.

im gonna play devil's advocate here by saying that i could at least sympathize with that urge to destroy something yourself before it has to end by circumstance, i.e out of your control.
