Well the ink bleeds out when you get older. I saw a boomer once, about late fifties or so, still in good shape and he had this really rad spiderweb tattoo on his elbow. I heard this is Hell's Angel's iconography, and I can believe it since he looked old enough to be in the gang in the 60s, but I digress.

The real point of this was that the spiderwebs looked really smudgy and blurred because he's had the tattoo for 30+ years...The more complex fine lined tattoos tend to lose their definition over the years but it's going to look damn, damn good for a while.
