i dont post here because of the ads. its impossible. several times i've come to netphoria from other comps and the browser straight up tanks.

adblocks be damned, this place has more ads than every other board i post on combined, each of which have more traffic than netphoria did in its prime AND i'm pretty sure none of them even have an option to donate much less discussions about donating.

Ditto for the boards that I browse weekly. I don't know of a single other board that pushes donations like this. But when you have soccer moms like To Starla and others as members on here who take a cursory view of the world, and when you have a website that's been going on for 10 years now, you can convince people that they are part of a fraternity or community that needs their financial backing for survival.

And many of them proudly donate without a single guarantee that the boards will continue to go on for the forseeable future.
