Default Sacrifice one, get two of the other...

I had to sacrifice seeing Interpol live in NZ in order to be financially viable to see the Pumpkins twice.

I wasn't really that organized to see Interpol, and woulda been a mission to get to and sort out, being about 10 hours dive away..

Im happy with the choise..

Did you make sure to do proper decompression for that 10 hour dive? I hope you had a good dive master with you.

it was a wise choice. i know i knock on SP2 a lot but interpol are pretty worthless in comparison.

I remember interpol played before the Pumpkins at the Virgin Festival. That was the worst performance I have ever seen. I've never really heard interpol before but god damn all of their songs sound the same. Such a boring, horrible performance.

That's a dumb thing to say. I'd suggest you listen to their albums a few times and if the songs still sound the same to you you're most likely tone-deaf.
Interpol songs are growers, believe me.

I fully agree with the above post, they are growers. Though there are many songs that got me straight away. Pauls voice is like Billys in that it has a very unique sound.

I first got hooked on interpol from their single "obstacle 1" but only ever listened to that, and had never heard any songs, when oneday I heard another, I decided to check them all out.

I was hooked. Theyve become my #2 after SP. I like Pauls voice and the mood of the songs.

I've seen many of their live performances on youtube and didnt see anything bad, so thought it'd be a good show....

But yeah, 2XSP is mandatory!
