Why thank you. I should probably get them reshaped sometime soon, they're getting a little wreckless.

I second trying JC Penney. You might pay more than you would want to, but they've got some cool stuff. I found some links for you, too.

Why not just a pea coat? They're stylish and go with everything and practical especially considering where you live

I have a brown peacoat and a nice, warm long black peacoat with a velvet lined hood...unfortunately I have a white dog. Wool = impossible to keep dog hair off of.

I like the bell style (princess cut?) of peacoat and the fluffy shearling-esque coats have that same look to them. Plus dog hair won't be a problem.

Thanks for the links murgle, I saved a few of those.

you might as well save your money and get the real thing. why would you spend 40 bux on that. imo, you saved your 40 bux because that coat was not worth 10 bux. but i dont like fake stuff. yeah, just save your money and get the real thing. that's what i'd do if i wanted that coat

Can you read? I don't want the real thing. Why would I want real fur, because it looks better? I'd much rather have something that doesn't smell like dead animal. I also wouldn't pay the kind of money necessary to get "the real thing".

Would you pay $50 with free shipping for an LL Bean coat? This looks a lot like the one I have:

This one might be more up your alley...

http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/sto...Search&feat=sr

Edit: this is the one I actually have. It's long enough to cover one's butt.

The first one's not warm enough (it's 10 degrees right now) and the second is hideous. But thanks. =\

Because I'm an asshole for not bidding more for the auction on the coat I wanted.
