hiyo...

i have some burts bees chapstick but its for lifeguards so it makes my lips white. i bought some normal burts bees but of course i left it in one of my pockets and it got washed/dried/melted. now i use petroleum jelly and it works like a charm and i've got tons of it. no complaints over here. not about my lips anyway.

Is it true that you develop a dependence on Chapstick and other suchlike products

Like it delivers some chemical that your lips would normally manufacture, and your lips go "Well fuck it, why bother making that chemical now"

And then you have to keep using the Chapstick until spring or your lips will never heal themselves

Dr. Bronner's products are some strange stuff. Don't read the packaging.

It feels that way. Without the chapstick they get hard and chapped and I want to chew the skin off them. With they feel kind of gross and seem to get too soft and I peel the skin off anyway. It's a vicious cycle.

I don't know if that's true but I have to use some sort of chapstick all the time, year round, every day. I don't know if it's an actual real dependency or just a mind thing, but I prefer my lips to be soft and moist

i'm almost ashamed to post this but ...

can you guys over there in the dark continent purchase this stuff? it's an exceptionally good product, and can be used for a number of things

http://www.organicsaustraliaonline.com.au/prod247.htm

Pretty sure every woman in Australia has a jar or tube of this in their handbag

Burt's Bees is amazing.

Carmex is what I use, it's cheap and it lasts forever. One time I found some strawberry Carmex, man that stuff was great.
