i woke up, printed some stuff out, went to my 3 classes, read a lot about the plight of aborigines in australia, went to dinner (grilled ham/cheese/bacon, spinach, frozen yogurt), read some more about how nanotechnology, robotics, and genetic engineering will destroy all of humanity.

and i set up an appointment to look for a house for the 2009-2010 school year. wooo, exciting.

600 dollars? are you on a special mountain or something

do you teach kids or adults

the kids are the cutest. they do "biiiig pizza" and "monkey banana" to learn to ski

I woke up about 4:00am and could not for the life of me get back to sleep. During the eight hours before I had to leave for work I downloaded last night's episode of Dexter, rode my bike for a while (it was cold and windy as all hell), took a shower and got ready for work, dicked around on the PC, talked to my mother, and prepared a nice lunch to take to work which, of course, I forgot. When I got to work, inpatients were running late so we were an hour late all day which made things suck. Our last patient was a man who failed to inform us he had a pacemaker despite us asking him several times. If the tech had not noticed the circular thing under the skin near his shoulder it would have been ripped out of his chest as soon as he went in the room. Currently I am listening to Lucinda Williams trying to help me wind down and get to sleep at a decent hour. It's not working out too well.

-woke up at 6am, at work 7:15am. fairly inconsequential monday at work, ate cuban yellow rice + chicken for lunch, left around 4:15pm.
-fell asleep around 6/6:30pm laying on my wife on the couch in front of tv
-woke up and had a second wind, packed 2 boxes of books and other random stuff including digital piano + acoustic guitar in car. drove to the new house, unpacked. played around with some xmas lights.
-went to Giant on way home, got some fruit, veggies and potato chips.
-came home and ate some cherry pie i baked a few nights ago

Thumbs down

work was crazy... i was away from my desk for only about 20 minutes because i was so busy catching up on annoying things and doing research. i had three difficult phone calls in the span of an hour (usually it's like one a week) and one of them was in french.
i got home and went straight to the gym, and then, for the past 3 and a half hour i have been cooking stuffed vine leaves...well i have been preparing them. they just went in the oven half an hour ago and i can't believe i won't get to sleep until at least 2 am when these things will hopefully be done cooking. i suck so bad at planning stuff like this.
