The idea behind this poll is kind of insulting to women in that it assumes that I'd have to be attractive for girls to date me. That isn't really the matter at all. Granted, some girls have actually been attracted to me (How? I don't know. I think I'm pretty bad looking.) but they're crazy or something. The way to be with a girl who likes you is to use what you do have going for you. Girls like talking with people, so I talk to them. Girls like it when you listen to them, so I listen to them. I treat the people I like with great respect, and that's really what people want. You'd be surprised how well girls respond when you're sincerely respectful to them. This poll sells girls short in that it assumes that in order for me to be with someone I think is attractive, everybody has to find me attractive. I'm far from being good looking, that's definitely true, but that doesn't mean I can't find girls I like who like me for things other than my looks. I mean, I'm passable, good enough, meh, not hunky or anything, and when you realize that this isn't the primary concern of many people you can get over it and emphasize the things you've got going for you. Hell, look at Kucinich. Try telling that guy he isn't good looking. He knows it, but that doesn't stop him. Trots, you could be dating all kinds of very nice and attractive girls if you just spoke with them and made a few jokes.
