Its that time of the semester!

Next week is my last full week of classes. I've missed five of my last ten East Asian History lectures, six of my last ten Spanish lectures, and three-straight weeks of Stalin/Stalinism. The only two classes I've been going to consistently are Art History and Comparative Politics, mainly because I usually go to lunch with this one girl afterwards (I already have an A and B+ locked for both classes respectively - I could have stopped going to both weeks ago).

I normally get into this "fuck it" sort of groove towards the end of a semester, but it came on much sooner this time around.

I can't even say my lack of attendance is hurting my grades, either. I only have three more tests (one normal test and two finals), two more papers (one ten-pager and one five-pager), and one ten-minute oral presentation based off of my ten-page paper; both papers and the oral presentation are due next Friday, and all three assignments will be done before next Tuesday. Regular lectures have already ended and every teacher has already gone into review mode. Fuck, I might not show up at all next week.

Any one else in a perpetual class-skipping frenzy? Theres no greater feeling than knowing you should be wasting away in a lecture hall but you're sleeping and playing video games instead.

i signed up for a 4-5 class after my 11-12 class with the idea that i would just spend the 4 hours studying ever day. instead ive just been going home early and skipping the 4-5 class for the last couple weeks.

ive got to catch myself up this weekend though, test monday

At least you have semesters. I have month long courses and then I move on to the next class. 12 classes in a year.

it's fun but it's intense. Only so much you can learn but you have to know it all.
