I've got a paper due on Thursday that I decided to write on how poetry can make the fleeting into the eternal. It's so amazing to see men turning their loves into something so great that outlives them by hundreds of years to be gazed warmly and appreciably upon by so many... It's just like somehow these guys figured it out and did it, and everybody else is merely swallowed away.

Yeah and I mean I don't even disagree with you. It's just that the song's so old that I kind of give its little cliches passes because at the time they weren't beaten into the ground, at least in song form (poetry aside).
