its easier on your brain to go little by little ... especially if you are coming down from a substantial dose. if you are on a low dose cold turkey wouldn't bother you. but your brain has to get used to those chemicals not being there. good for you for being ready to get off of them!

in other news i just got my turntable set up but IM HAVING PROBLEMS. no treble out of the left speaker.

switched speakers and got a whole new host of problems. i think the contacts need cleaning and the left speaker still has no highs.

I quit mine cold turkey.

But not on purpose. I kinda just went away to school and forgot to take them for a week and I felt fine, so I kept on not taking them

...good luck with that.

The PlayStation bit has some truth to it. Resident Evil 4 hadn't been out for very long when I landed in my rut. Aside from video games, just anything that'll occupy your mind. I went cold turkey after taking meds for about two months. The three things that kept me off meds:

1. Worked the day shift, spent the nights being constructive (reading, going out with friends).
2. Locked myself in my room and played Resident Evil 4.
3. Recorded "gloomy pop goth songs" on my eight track.
