I clicked on this thread cause Ubuntu is a Zulu word meaning the People and I thought it would be cool.

are there still the same problems with dependencies in linux. I gave up a for years ago because I got sick of trying to install something having to find 3 others to install before it would work then have to find 3 things for each of those 3 things....

It was endless. I loved linux but installing programs was a fucking nightmare.

generally in ubuntu if you use its software thingy it automagically selects the dependencies for ya.
