phaedrus has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.

how do you find the business? i'm trying to figure out if i'll be able to keep up. as long as i stay motivated i thrive on challenges, so i hope i get involved in some really interesting projects.

Warning: I am getting drunk

I like it. I don't know how Canada (are you still in canada?) is but the first couple of years were hard because you have to learn all of the specific state and federal regulations, laboratory analyses, remediation technologies, sampling procedures, federal policies, report writing for clients.....it goes on and the amount of technical procedures gets quite daunting at times. But in other time you're just putting water/soil in a jar.

The problem (and also the best part) is that it seemed like I was ALWAYS learning something knew from week to week and never doing the same thing twice. But I'm over that now and I'm pretty confident in everything I do. Get into remediation, that's the most interesting and challenging stuff. I want to become a technologist, not a project manager.

In the end, it's a fun job and it's alot more interesting than 93% of the jobs out there.
