i watched the complete first season....
enjoyed it enough to keep watching as downloaded tV
but i won't be keeping up with season 2 weekly

I like Dexters character, but too many of the other actors are unwatchable
his sister is especially ugly...

does anyone watch brotherhood at all? it's a lot better than i expected it to be... it's filmed about 10 minutes away from my house, which is why i originally started watching it, but i'm hooked on the storyline... it's pretty neat

i love Dexter's accent so much.

i watched the first season of the other dexter show on dvd and enjoyed it enough - i really like the black cop that hates dexter,he's the best character on there. i'll watch the next season in full on dvd.

After reading the third book a couple weeks ago, I'm kinda glad the show is going off on its own path. The second book was good, and I was kinda excited to see how the show would handle some of the things that happened in it if they were going to use to book as the basis for this season. But the third book was WAY too far out there for the world the show has created. Basing a season off the third book would definitely be a "jump the shark" moment, IMO.
