Well, just don't use 'check their results' - that's more like analyzing them to make sure they're correct. Sounds like a tense event

i have a friend from Georgia (used to be part of Russia) and she's skips the a's and i actually like the way it sounds because it seems to almost get to the point faster than regular English. I have some French friends that communicate interestingly. I'm not sure if all french people communicate this way but they go more on body language then words and they like to keep things very simple. which doesn't bother me. Then I had a dork English boyfriend who had to argue with me on the correct pronunciation of aluminum. according to his feeling it's only properly pronounced as: "al u minium". I have another friend that is horrible with "correct" English. The way he speaks is like one long run on sentence. At first it bothered me intensely, but now i have dear feelings for the run on sentence

Do you ever wonder what the physical geographers, who work in field sites that spread from the Arctic Canada to the Caribbean, do in their labs?

I had a physics professor from georgia. GOD his accent was horrible. Normally with accents, after a week or so I can understand them about 300% better than in the beginning. With this guy I started out understanding about 20% of what he said and by the end of the semester I understood maybe 30%

I already hanged the posters - I changed it into 'Come and check out their results on your own!' according to LDS' suggestion (I hope he went insane only after giving me the advice).

Yeah, those events are really tense, you could hear a pin dropping on the floor . Last year I even chickened out from showing up.
