I work as a researcher for Military History. Once I come home I try to forget about it.

I used to work IT support, so technically I was on call 24/7, however, calls outside business hours weren't the norm.

I remember my first or second day on the job, I got an irate call from one of our staff, complaining about something... (i later found out what she was ACTUALLY pissed about, and she didn't even mention it once, blaming everything but whatever it was - i forget what it was now).

i refuse to take work home, and will only work overtime for special problems (requests from people high up in the govt, huge data losses - things that will directly effect people if not done quickly) - of if i'm programming something that i'm really into, sometimes i just get wrapped up in what i'm doing and leave late when i realize what time it is

ummmmmmmmmm no but I stay late sometimes. Every time I say I am going to bring work home I end up watching TV and not doing it anyway. if I need to get work done it has to be at an office
