i've never moved anywhere, but my boyfriend moved here from england. the easiest way for him to do it was as a student, but a lot of countries don't have cheap education for foreigners, whereas the community college system here is relatively cheap. as far as i can tell, the only way i'll be able to move to england will be to 1) go to grad school there and pay tons of money, 2) get married to thom in england (or get married here 2 years before moving to england), or 3) find an employer there or someone here who will send me there. it's all a little aggrivating, but i know we're not going to open all our borders anytime soon.

Not sure if I count as "moving", but I second the "things smell and taste weird" sentiment. The ketchup is much different. So is the Coke.
