16mm negative. I'm actually pretty happy that Scene 001 turned out well, considering we were only using 200T stock.

A low-angle sidelight for the guy in back and just the match for the one in front.

damn. I'm just amazed how well his features came out. Did you push up in processing or something?

groovy! is it a full length film? if there is a girl bleeding in the bathtub, it's my type of movie. is it a college project? are you going to try and get a distributor? anyway, congrats. looks cool.

Just standard one-light processing. My DP's just the go-to guy for about everything we do around here, so he knew how to get what I wanted. And he also learned a lot more for the shoot; this was shot very close to the end.

Full length indeed. The current cut is at about an hour, though we still have a good number of scenes yet to finish (or in a few cases, start) editing. Sort of a college project, but pretty much on my own initiative, thanks to a rather nice grant. Too early to ask about distribution, but if the chance is there, I'll damn well try!

At this point, I'm trying to lock the picture so that we can do a fully-informed audio edit while at the same time starting pre-production on a rather nice video short I'm ready to dig into. The funny thing is that the video short will actually have more crew than the feature! Well, one has to keep on working up, right?
