That's never happened to me, but I'm assuming it's sort of the equivalent of finding $20 in an old pair of pants, only amplified many times over.

It was this restaurant, the owner (I came to discover later) was on crack and crazy and the place was taken over by previous owners of the restaurant for not paying some bills and not paying worker's comp insurance. It sucked. He was really disorganized and made us lie about what me made and tips and stuff for taxes and crap like that. My friend Amanda and I were the ONLY waitresses left (It was a small steakhouse kind of on the outskirts of the town I was living in) in the last month or so under the crack addict, and we busted ass and never got our last paychecks. We also helped him move everything out for nothing and not on the clock to help him out, but we didn't get reimbursed for that in any way, either. Unless we sued him, we weren't going to see any of it. I didn't feel like dealing with him, because he was a scary, scary man.
