Default Will someone please tell me WHY greg maddux deserves so much money?

It's almost like he didn't get as much money as he wanted, so he's going to pitch shitty.

Here's to hoping he loses every game and someone on the streets of Atlanta caps his ass.

I don't know if I will even be able to watch the Braves this season. I didn't even like Tom Glavine, but I have never seen them play without him on the team.

How bad is Greg pitching? Actual bad or Greg bad?

I was just flipping channels and he was pitching against the Phillies tonight. Left in the 6th or 7th inning after giving up 9 runs, his pitching percentage (or whatever it's called) was like 10.63 or something like that. My boyfriend had a good laugh so I'm guessing that's pretty bad.

Well, let's put it this way. he's 0-3 with an ERA over 11. In the games he's pitched, the Braves have lost 10-2 (Expos), 17-1 (Marlins) and 16-2 (Phillies). This is extra bad news when you consider in the fact that these teams are all division rivals.

The Expos and the Marlins aren't really "division rivals" in any competitive sense of the term.

Because the Braves agree that it's about damn time the Phillies won something, and they're doing whatever they can to help.

It's a week in. Jeez. Check back at the end of the year. Glavine got roughed up last April and he turned in a damned good season.

I'm no Braves fan whatsoever, but I've always kinda liked Maddux. He just seems like a nice guy.

He's also the one who proved to me that Lasik is safe and effective. He got it on Saturday, and pitched 7 or 8 innings on Monday without his specs.
