G'Kar identifies the monster as a 'Soldier of Darkness,' an idea shared by several of the League Ambassadors.

Guided by Mariah, Victoria leads a security force in Down Below with the intention of killing the monster. In the ensuing firefight, one security officer is killed, and a few others including Mariah and Victoria are injured. G'Myk and Ross stumble onto the scene, helping to attack the monster, which is apparently killed and vanishes in on itself.

Brendan receives a communiqué from Admiral Dupont, who encourages him to keep researching and pushing the issue if he wants to see Thunderbolts assigned to B5.
