Some more images, from your new favorite ctrl-v destination:

Liberation-

Iraqi civilians hate us, right?
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...&e=8&ncid=1479

First taste of freedom-

Anyone can find pictures to fit their needs, or spew babble to support their side. Grow up, make a concise argument of your own, and stop acting like the goddamn Iraqi information minister. What's next, Donkey, are you going to start saying that US troops have yet to reach Baghdad or that we're committing suicide en masse outside the city?

Again, when did I ever say you supported Hussein? The pictures are responses to what you posted, namely assuming that because you post an image, your side is "right".

Perhaps his point is that your pictures and their captions provided did not match up, that you're reaching for straws to defend your position, and that you can't ever answer a straight question unless you can enter the question in Google or Ask Jeeves.
Take the pain of the victims of 9-11 and multiply by 100? Are you kidding? First of all, the country is at war.. this wasn't an unexpected result... they knew they were at war. Secondly, the 9-11 attack was specificly targeted at civilians (well, the New York attack, the passengers on the airliners, everything except the Pentagon). These civilians in Iraq were collateral damage. Tragic, yes, but expected and in fact minimized. There have been FAR less casualties, millitary and otherwise, in Iraq than on 9-11. Also, our citizens weren't looking for liberation. We weren't hopeful to be free of a government dictatorship. The comparison is so flawed, it's silly.

i appreciate your post because you defend your position. they don't match up to you because that is "my" perspective of the world. The pain when you lose a loved one is the same regardless of why the person died. and i differentiate between pain and anger.

i can understand why you are upset with my 9-11 comparison. you are right, and i retract that statement. but i don't regret posting the pictures with a spin. you are intelligent enough to interpret the pictures for yourself, those are just my feelings.
