Default If you found a brand new textbook with no name written in it...

...under a desk in class, would you turn it in to the office, or sell it on amazon.com for $60 used?

If I found it I would've left it there. If someone lost it, chances are they'll return to the spot to find it.

As for selling it, I wouldn't sell it because I wouldn't have taken it in the first place. I'm not sure how I feel about taking what isn't earned.

I'm with Duo...I probably would have turned it into the professor in the hopes that whoever lost it would ask their prof and word would spread. The $60 fast money is tempting but brings with it a vast amount of bad karma.

The book was from the class before mine...prof long gone by the time I found it.

Tough scenario. I have sympathy for college kids as I was fucking broke in school. Losing a book and having to replace it would have thrown my finances into turmoil.

I know what I am going to do with it, but I wanted to see what people here would do.
