Damnit why is my AIM search broken?

Half the time when I search it won't find anybody and the other half of the time everyone it finds is 'unavailible'. Why? I'm using version 5.1 and it's been this way since I switched over to Win XP.

why are u searching for people? looking for love???

i am using 5.2.3139 on XP and search is working fine. maybe the server you are on is actting up My AIM ---> Edit options --> Edit Pref ===> Sing On/Off click on Conenction and then click Auto Config

But it just pisses me off to know that I can't search. Thanks for the suggestion though, even if it still won't work.
