yeah that sucks, but it's a smart move to not go. Some dumb bitch from San Diego just came back from China and dragged it in with her and apparently theres like 12 more suspected cases here now on top of that. Fucking fantastic

my roommate was sick last week and she ended up going to the hospital and at first they thought she had SARS. i guess it wasn't, but how do you really differentiate, really?

it wasn't just a trip.. it was two years in the peace corps. oh well i still don't know where i'm going. china was just on my list of possibilities and i really wanted that country. Anyway, maybe it'll be cleared up by summer and they'll need people. At least this shows PC doesn't hesitate to pull volunteers if there's danger.

yeah, apparently most of the cases in the US have been really mild, not warranting hospitalization or anything. it does kinda scare me, though, b/c i have a really crappy immune system. in fact, i have some sort of cold/flu thing right now.
