aquafina is reverse osmosis last time i checked
the purification process removes most of what makes tap water tap water and bottled water bottled water
people who call that tap water piss me off
(i worked for 6 years at a distilled water store, that used a public water source)

So why dont they make a big deal out of that?

Our Aquafina water goes through a 5 stage purification process, eliminating the impurities that exist in regular tap water...

our water is horrible. comes from a well. so i'm just used to drinking bottled water of any kind. and i always knew what waters came from springs and which were purified tap water. i had no idea it was some mystery people didn't know about.

god the tap water in fresno is horrendous. its like they circulate it through the farms and cow pastures before they give it to the people. we had well water at my parents house and it was tasty. it was in a limestone deposit and had a lot of calcium in it... but also a weird amount of salt (not like gross amount, but like the amount they add to bottled water to make it taste better).

yeah this house I stayed at near cleveland, oh had well water. whatever they tapped into must have gone through some sort of sulphur deposit because it smelled like.... sulphur. (rotting eggs) it tasted fine though. I was kind of worried that the smell would stay on my after I took a shower in it. I hope it didnt

it depends on where you live, but tap water is not as bad as some people think it is

if people didnt spend money on bottled water we could use that money for slave reparations, stem cell research and clean energy
