Angry I pulled my back out and may not be able to dance tomorrow

My luck. Every once in a while I fuck my back up - just leaning over to get something usually...which is what happened. It's probably because I was sitting in the car for 16 hours plus sleeping on a hard bed this weekend...I'm pretty pissed off.

I have a performance tomorrow, I've been practicing for months and now my back goes out the day before. I've been stretching it and doing my Rachel Brice yoga tape a little which I think is helping. I've got icy hot and lidocaine patches... I might just dance anyway and cripple myself during a figure 8 or something. You guys might be in for a funny video...

I pulled a leg muscle pretty badly yesterday playing football. Do you hear me complaining? Making threads about it? Hell no. I'll be out there again tomorrow.

Suck it up, rub some dirt on it and get out there. It's just pain, not an injury. Stop thinking about yourself and get focused on your TEAM.

Hey man, that's what I'm going to end up doing. I'm just afraid I'll be dancing and then all of a sudden you'll hear "SHIT!" and see me fall and knock everyone down with me. Then it'll be on America's Funniest Videos and people will forever know me as the falling belly dancer who ruined everything. I can see it now...

Ibuprofen? I got some of that I think. I don't know the difference between over the counter pain killers.

Ugh. Well it's time for me to start getting ready for my drills class - at least I'll know after that whether or not I can actually do this without paralyzing myself. Wish me luck!

AFAIK Ibuprofen is an anti-inflam...

It's the only over the counter thing that worked for me when I had severe tooth pain needing root canal... and for the pain after the root canal.

I took some ibuprofen, some girl at class helped me do some stretches and I think class loosened me up a little bit - and stretched some more. It's feeling normal now unless I move too fast. It's crazy how much just doing these stretches helps. I've never done this and not been in agony for days...but then again I usually just used to lay down the whole time which makes it worse.

lol That wasn't it...it was probably because it was sore from riding in the car to KY and back - then sleeping in the hardest bed I've ever slept on while we were there. It's feeling a lot better now though, it's just sore.

Actually it's not gonna be at that place, this time it's gonna be at a euro club lolol But it's Thursday at 8 so hopefully it'll just be the people coming to see us and not the eurotrash clubskis. That place is scary on the weekends...

I'm so excited, my back is feeling 10 times better, I just went to the mall and got some awesome costume jewelry and I might even wear a toe ring for the first time in my life. I'm gonna be so fancy. I was thinking about getting some of those sticky jewels to put on my face or even a bindi but I figured that might be a little too much. I got enough to worry about with these huge ass earrings.

YAY!
