Default So i broke up with my friends girlfriend yesterday

I had a band practice yesterday at the drummers house but we werent allowed to use the drums or turn the guitars up loud because his girlfriend was upstairs sleeping (even though she had been in bed for 12 hours already) The other guitarist was 2 hours late because he was clothes shopping with his girlfriend.

This shit has got to stop, why cant these guys live their own fucking lives. This was planned a week ago and they let a whim from their women dictate their decisions.

If this sounds like ok behaviour to you guys then i think i have officially become a masculinist. (or male chauvanist pig, y'know the opposite of feminist.)

i hate when your friends are bitched by their girlfriends like this

one of my best friends in my group was with this girl during senior year of high school and we all hated her. none of us had reason to be jealous because we all had gfs, this chick was pretty much telling our friend what to do always, ended up cheating on him and breaking up with him on their anniversary. now a couple years have past, we're all going to be juniors next year and this summer while we're all back home, he hangs out with this ex and she's controlling him now too. its ridiculous, she also interfered in jamming when we were in hs because she'd be so demanding. theres so much more but i dont want to rant beyond this.

so yeah, it sucks when guys change their lives because of a woman. sucks when a girl has to do it too, really. i understand that they're part of your lives and whatever, but dont obsess so much. thats a bit ridiculous.

i suppose i should probably grow up and realise this is what future life is all about, maybe this is why my relationships dont last so long, i dont shop with my girlfriends, unless its for a special occasion, i dont expect them to come to beery bbqs. It just strikes me as odd how my friends cant be away from their girls for any length of time. It should be more about being able to spend time without them but choosing to do so, rather than not being able to bear a second away. uck.

Valid point on an equal playing field. My point was that this was organised a week ago and instead they decided to do this at short notice. I'm all for spending time with your missus, and i understand that for some people, its the best time for them. But its a little irritating when this was planned in advance.

im 21, its the drummers house but she comes and stays there occasionally when she falls out with her parents. She cant work the door so he has to let her in.

what if she's like his muse, though. it's no choice between the woman and the band, because to risk the one is to put the other in jeopardy too.

some artists are like that. i'm not sure if a drummer really qualifies.

not sure really its quite hard to say, we've only recently started playing regularly again now that we have got university out the way so the new songs we've written sound different. i guess its blues based, but can be more melodic but also more heavy (but not in the conventional rar metal heavy, more foreboding.)

i cant help but sound like a kiddie when describing the band.
