but of course, the joke is funny because homer is meant to be an exaggeration of insensitive and incompetent fool. I hope you can see the analogy.

y'know, if something tragic happened to me, i agree that i wouldn't post about it here. But if I did, i'd at least expect some basic sensitivity (not necessarily sympathy) here.
If the case in question is genuine, it doesn’t matter if she’s using the board to vent. She shouldn’t be ‘taught a lesson’ by a couple of idiots with no moral code whatsoever.
It easy for everyone to consider the internet as a 'make believe' world. It only seems to hit home that the people are real when it kicks you in the arse.
