Can he move at all or is he having trouble keeping his balance? Have you seen him use the litter box at all? Keep an eye on him. If he's wobbly and not responsive, tell the vet and tell them you need him in asap - or go to the emergency vet.

Good luck. I hope he's okay.

The gunky stuff, is it discolored? Yellowish or Greenish?

Do you have to wait till 4 because that's when you have your appointment? If they're open now, I'd call them and tell them what's going on - they may charge you $10 extra to come in before your appointment but they shouldn't tell you you can't bring him in if he's really sick.

Also, check his skin - if you pinch a little and pull up - does it snap back like it would on your body or does it slowly go back down? If it's going slowly that means he's dehydrated, and you can tell that to the vet and they will want you to bring him in asap so they can give him fluids before it gets worse.

when I went back home the other week my mom told me that my cat daemon died. wtf. like she never tells me when it happens but when I'm like "so where's daemon?!?!"

anyway, apparently he had an enlarged heart! he was always pretty hyper. maybe his heart was beating crazy fast.

Aw that sucks...sorry to hear. I hope he'll be okay, at least there's something they can do - that's always better than hearing them tell you there's nothing they can do. And from what that site says, that's the best possible method of treatment so that's good too. Just try not to worry - think happy thoughts and wait till you hear back from them.

at least once they drain him he should feel better for now, able to breathe normally and all that.

Yeah, it could be a lot worse...trust me. He's a lucky guy.

Just try your best to go out and let the music take the worry off your mind.

actually things aren't looking good. looks like it might have been caused by a heart problem or possibly a tumor. we're waiting to hear more and we're having a family meeting about it tonight
