Arrow excel help

I did something and right now when I am pressing arrows, I am shifting the whole sheet - pressing arrows does not move the active cell.

What shall I do to put it back into order, i.e. pressing arrows=moving the active cell?
thanks

how's the cell formatted? do you have text wrapping? is it a formula? text? function?

it is apparently format-independent.

go to edit, clear, all formats, and see if that helps. it sounds like the cell could be formatted weird. see if that works.

It was for additional elaboration. I couldn't figure out what you did and I use excel fairly often.

yup - i had someone ask me the exact same question at work, and they said they'd never ever touched that key on purpose in their life... so its no surprise that people dont know what it does.
